Looking at someone all messed up in the ER...a controlled environment...can't be as bad as the freakiness of seeing that same messiness in the atmosphere of pavement and all things non-sterile. Would freak me out!Tiggerlanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12084094580971149293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7407016858777887859.post-81487649847552275932009-06-09T07:33:24.868-06:002009-06-09T07:33:24.868-06:00This comment has been removed by the author.sistawhodownunderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17126493306396727611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7407016858777887859.post-17727153754435853512009-06-02T18:40:31.702-06:002009-06-02T18:40:31.702-06:00That's crazy, 12 hour shifts are never 12 hours an...That's crazy, 12 hour shifts are never 12 hours and then you added to yours. Tsk, tsk. However, I have pulled some of the same crazy shenanigans. Rest well and I hope you recuperate quickly.

Gosh, that sounds fun though... :)Deanna Bland Hiott PhD, MSN, RNhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05229020466888617645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7407016858777887859.post-10047290306786634542009-06-02T16:42:44.408-06:002009-06-02T16:42:44.408-06:00You're hilarious! Really enjoy your nurse stories; it's a job I could never do, tho my Mum was a nurse and loved every minute of it. Guess you're either cut out for it or not.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03163237504708903597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7407016858777887859.post-34283129202339106012009-06-02T12:32:26.604-06:002009-06-02T12:32:26.604-06:00You're an adrenalin junkie, that's what you are. Sounds like everyone is growing up.

I too laughed at the FG. I mean - really?

We had a rafting guide who became a paramedic. I was jaw-dropping astounded at some of his stories he would tell. One day I asked him how he could do it after he 'saved' someone's eye that had popped out in an accident. He turned to me and said - 'Someone's got to do it.'

The guy had been a jerk and a childish employee for most of the 6 years he worked for us. No wonder he astounded me so much huh?aimshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12685252628734838159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7407016858777887859.post-90066126412453960272009-06-02T07:42:25.597-06:002009-06-02T07:42:25.597-06:00I'm smiling.I'm smiling.Maggiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04080624346462483884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7407016858777887859.post-76760873223213295572009-06-02T00:26:44.046-06:002009-06-02T00:26:44.046-06:00You sound as though there is job satisfaction........You sound as though there is job satisfaction......
You are doing a difficult but great job.
I love to watch those ER documentaries, going out with the shout. It is those years of experience that assure me each and every ER story you provide is absolutly true!

Damn, sometimes I miss those days!Devonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05563150483422859462noreply@blogger.com
