If Hollywood made a movie of your life, who would be the perfect actor to play you?
I'm serious. Who would portray you? We could even do it two ways - who should play you and who would you like to play you? This could be interesting - to read how all of our blog buddies see themselves.
I'll start. Why not?
I see myself as a Sandra Bullock type. Kind of goofy, kind of funny and the perpetually twisted girl next door.
On the other hand, if you de-glamorize Diane Lane and frump her up a bit (or a lot), I could see that, too. The coloring is spot on. And that's a stinkin' cute dog.
And someone at work is convinced I look like Elizabeth Mitchell, who plays Juliet in Lost. He's pulled lots of other people into his little warped reality, but there isn't a speck of resemblance there. Not a bit.
But hey, what's Hollywood without a little fantasy?

I never saw Elizabeth Mitchell until tonight--as far as I know--and, mia culpa for being a jerk. But, there actually is a very strong resemblance. Te amo.
I would want Meryl Streep to play me, but I am at a loss as to who actually would. Any ideas?
I'd like Glenn Close to play me, but Kathy Bates probably should (and not just because of the chubbiness factor).
who's that person who played the fat girl in hairspray?
totally me.
doppelganger.
Laughing at Laurie (who is totally lying). Give Sissy Spacek a perm and I think she'd do nicely as a Laurie substitute.
Me, though? I'm a big fan of Rachel Weisz and I'd love to have her play me, but who am I kidding? The skin is lighter, the hair is darker, the woman is far and away prettier.
I've had people say I put them in mind of Helen Hunt, but I'm not blonde and not fair. I've also been compared to Jennifer Love Hewitt which I can see a little more, but her skin is creamy while mine is sallow and olive. Plus she's skinny and stacked. I've got the stacked -- the skinny? Not so much.
well considering i look NOTHING like any of the asian actresses out there (thin, pretty, etc. lol)i'd prob want drew barrymore to play me...she's quirky & smart, so yeah. i don't look like drew either considering i have the filipino-side coloring, not blonde, not skinny, but i am short. ha.
The only famous people I've ever been accused of looking like are men - Larry Byrd and Alex Winter (from Bill and Ted movies).
I guess I could go with Drew Barrymore, for the reasons that Ciara cites. I'd also like Lisa Kudrow, although she's taller, thinner, blonder, older and way more glamourous than I am.
Fun question though.
Oh, one more, Linda Hamilton. Geez I'd like to have her arms.
Me? Shirley MacLaine. Spot on.
Let's see...
I would love Charlize Theron to play me, just because she is so beautiful.
But the reality might be more Joan Allen - and this is giving me more credit than I should get still.
Last try - Mary McCormick (in that new USA show In Plain Sight)
Cheers,
Marti
I would love to be played by Michelle Pfeiffer or Susannah York (in her younger days.) Although a casting director would no doubt be shouting at me 'Get real, Bitch! It's Miriam Margoyles or nuthin'...'
Mya x
I think...... erm....... Zoe Wannamaker could play me!
I'd be played by America Ferrarri. That'd be so cool!
Until she opened her mouth this week and inserted both feet, I'd have wanted Sharon Stone to play me. Well, that was the young me anyway. Now, I think I want Jamie Lee Curtis to play me. Gray hair and all. That's it. Can't I pick my costar? Leo D. with those rock hard abs. Damn, he's cute.
Funny you mention Sandra Bullock. Have you seen Miss Congeniality? You know the part before she's pretty and feminine? That's me. It's so spot on that I was squirming in my seat. My husband whispered, "She's just like you." My daughter said, "Oh, my god, Mom. She's like you. You're just like that."
I'd love to have her or Rachel Griffiths play me. But I'm way fatter and much fairer than either of them, and my face, well, is hopeless.
I think I'd be played by Kate Hudson. She has the quirkiness that I do. Now, she looks a whole lot better, but this would be television. They always make you look better on TV than you do in real life!
People always tell me I look like Helen Hunt. Only she is in much better shape and my hair is darker.
I like her, she would work for me.
Tracey Ulmann in a fat suit- not really the physical features, but the spirit.
Tracy Ulmann in one of her fat suits best suits me - not necessarily in features, but in spirit.flyingmonkey

Okay. Of course I would want a brilliant actress like Kate Winslet to play me, but let's be real. I am not british or 1/3 that stunning...so, whatever.
How about Drew Barrymore? I have been told I resemble her and I like her innocent but naughty atmosphere. She is goofy and real.
People always say Geena Davis for me. But I would much rather be played by Natalie Portman...
I guess it'd have to be Ruby Wax, although I guess I'd really prefer Geena Davis.
Once someone told me I resembled Faye Dunaway. That was when I was much thinner.
Now I probably look more look more like Faye Eataway too much.
I guess you could do worse...!
Back handed compliments at your workplace?
I don't know who would play me. Or even who I would like. i'll have to think about it. More blog fodder...
Am I possibly the only one that thinks that you looked like the chick off of My Big Fat Greek Wedding in the 90's?
