Hello all - I'm back! I've just been catching up on the comments from last week's Thursday Three. Thanks to all who "played" and welcome! to our new visitors. I'm very happy you've stopped by and hope you stick around!
We ended up extending our stay by a day and have only been home a few minutes. I called dibs on the computer as we were pulling into the driveway, much to my kid's chagrin. Ha! Never argue with a woman who has been internet free for six days. Or a woman who has just spent three and a half hours in a car with children who have quite recently realized that school starts two weeks from today. That sound you hear is my maniacal laughter. It's my newest mantra. Two. Weeks. (wild laughter) Two. Weeks. (cackle) Two. (tee) Weeks. (hee)
Okay, I'm done now. Two weeks.

Glad you are back--hope you had a great time! Two week, oh dear, the poor things. We'll never have the summer homework finished in two weeks, so I guess it is a good thing we still have five weeks and one day!
We have 5 weeks and I'm giddy with the prospect of school. Back to a schedule with real bedtimes. I'm all a flutter with excitement - except for the crummy back to school shopping. Nothing quite like dragging a skulky 11 year old from pillar to post.
Welcome back!
My children don't go back to school until Sept. 8.
So good you're back - well rested I hope.
We're counting down to the new term here - less than a month now...(stifled cheers - wouldn't want to hurt Sprog's feelings.)
Mya x
Glad to see you back, we've missed you!
Still trying to get The Four Year Old in to pres-school here, but the kids in our county start back August 6th.
Welcome home, can't wait to hear all about it. We still have four weeks left of the holidays - I haven't any children to contend with but it does mean that I have to go back to work then! :(
