For all of you who don't live in the US, and who bow at the altar of different sports - please indulge me with this post. Because we are very, very happy right about now.
And words are kind of escaping me.

At least your internet is working again. I haven't been following any sports that have players over 4 feet tall.
I'm guessing your team won?
Don't know much about sport, but I'm happy if you are, with the result!
Oh my gosh! That was one of the freaking awesomest games ever!!!! If my team has to suck, then I am glad a neighboring state kicked butt!!!!!
Congrats to you and your team RC - it's strange how good something like that can make you feel. :)
Having lived in Mempis for a while, I was going to stay up and try to catch the game. Not that I was rooting for Memphis. Calipari never did much for me as a coach. Ray knows more about Kansas and basketball than I do.
My son had a bit of money on the game and was quite despondent toward the end of regulation. Seems he was the only one who put money on Kansas and the pot would belong to him alone. And then there was magic and lots of whooping, gloating and instant messaging followed promptly with the announcement that he was going to immediately buy a new pair of Ray Bans. It was a great game. Y'all earned your bragging rights.
i know that the Jayhawks won, but i have no idea what's going on in that video.
anyway, congratulations! my friend Plesser is thrilled, too. she was monitoring the playoffs via the web during her trip to england last week, and yesterday she showed up at work in a bright red JAYHAWKS shirt.
at first i thought she meant the band, but then i remembered....
What a great game! Glad you are having some fun.
Rock Chalk! As a KU alum, I am both in shock and thrilled by last night's win. Oh how I wish I could have been down on Mass street last night. It took a lot of willpower to come to work today and not just drive right down to Lawrence.
If it makes you happy then I'm happy. You have an award to collect honey.
That video looked a little like a cult thing..and didn't give me a clue as to what you are talking about!
But that's okay - if you're happy-I'm happy!
ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK!!!
I used to have a pair of tennis shoes with Jayhawks embroidered on the toe. Needless to say, I'm happy!
OMG...you are like me, girlie! I got chills, just watching that video! I watched that game in total awe last night - nothing like some OT!
I am still on cloud 9! We all stayed up and watched and calming went outside to shout, "Rock Chalk Jayhawk - Go KU!"
Now that I am living in Texas, my neighbors might not have apprecaited my efforts, but we did it just the same! Then we started getting phone calls. Everyone screaming and yelling!
That was a game - I still can't get over it. It was awesome! It is a good day to be a Jayhawk.
I take it it's... basketball?
*confused* (not difficult with me)
I'm happy if you're happy...
Happy for you. My team was knocked out last week. Badly.
Congrats! Glad your team one!
I am happy for you, except I lost 200.00 due to this win. I should have know better, you could have been my good luck charm. Seriously, it was a huge joke at work, I don't care about sports, so I paid my 5.00 and picked away, by names and favorite states. Somehow, I ended up in the top 4. It was a riot. The men at work were so frustrated, they spend so much time with their "picks" and I had not clue. So all in all, loosing was no big deal, cause I never expected to win. I heard it was a great game thou, so enjoy the win and the celebrations.
XOXOXO
have no idea what's happening there, but there's an award at my place for you. I forgot to let you know. It's on the April 9th post. x
