For the first time ever, I'm having to bail on Fun Monday. My wireless is still doing weird things, even though I had one of Sasquatch's friends spend a fair amount of time with it on Sunday. Of course, it worked perfectly for him. I came home from work and got all teary eyed at the sight of the Mozilla Firefox start page. (Is there a more beautiful sight? Or do I need a life?) My bliss ended about sixty seconds later when it booted me off, which it has done three times since. I hate computers.
And it just kicked me off again. I give.
Where the hell is my cuss-o-meter??

RC ........ I'm sending out oodles of empathy, I really am. I hate all this equipment when it goes wrong, being a complete technophobe. You know even more about the wretched computers & routers than I do & yet they are still going wrong!Do hope you can get some one to fix the problem soon.
Oh I am so sad my lovely. But I will forgive your pc. It needs to get sorted as it is causing far too much stress. If you like, I will come over with all my expertise, and erm, give it a kick. x

I had to get rid of Fire Fox. My whole computer just about completely crashed. I had to reload Windows and Internet Explorer.

Ours was doing that for a while...more than a little frustrating. I called the provider who sent people out which sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. Sometimes just calling the co. kicked it all back on. Now, when I get the page that says can't find connection there is a link to run a self test and that usually gets it going again. Sometimes just turning the modem off for a few minutes and then back on again helps, too.
Enjoy your mom while she is there and then sneak back here in her suticase!

I keep having the problem of not being able to comment. One day I can - the next I can't and then the next - just fine again. I think Blogger hates me.
Luckily, I don't ever expect any of this stuff to work, so when it does it's always a bonus.
You clever guys must get really pissed off as you really know what it's supposed to be doing, but I don't.

I've been having firefox issues all day. I'm not certain what the problem is. Safari hasn't been an issue. Hope you get it all settled soon.
