What do you think is your worst habit? And why?
Inquiring minds want to know.
I'll go first, since I kind of have to. That's one of the downsides of asking such a nosy question. My worst habit is biting my nails. I have other bad habits, I know, but I have a handle on most of them. The nails drive me nuts. I stop, I start, I stop, I start...and so on and so on. I've never been able to figure out a way to leave them at home and out of sight.
As of today, I've officially stopped again. Maybe not the best timing in the world, but it will appease my inner control freak. Not to mention the fact that there's almost nothing that makes me feel better about myself than fingernails. By June 1st I want to be have the needed nails to have the manicure I won't be able to afford.
Now it's your turn. Spill it.

Sorry, can't help. Got no bad habits.
Yeah right, apart from being a complete fibber, Willowtree!
Where to start with mine? I'm not sure how gross you want this to go...I think I'd better keep it relatively clean.
Sometimes I leave my toenail clippings all over the bathroom floor. I spend money I don't have. I don't dunk my biscuits, but I've been known to roll bread into doughy pellets and launch them into my mouth from quite an impressive distance and height.I swill my tea in puffed up cheeks - this was pointed out to me by Spouse years ago - I had no idea I did it. I belch, but not in polite company. I don't bite my nails.
Mya x
I used to bite my nails too, a long time ago. It has left them weak and pathetic and they just won't grow, I wish I could leave them at home!
Couldn't think of any, so I asked Harry who said "I like to get my own way"!
I'm sure he's wrong!
I don't finish jobs. I start things and then drift off...
I used to be a heavy smoker but gave that up some years back.
Um, no, can't think of any bad traits. Yup, I'm an absolutely perfect human being. Apart from the lying and big-headedness, of course.
Oh, and drinking too much on Saturday nights (among other days). Hic, cheers!
LOL when I came over hear I was bitting my nails, I was chewing on them as I read your entire post! So that is one of my biggest bad habits.
Lack of follow through would be another.AKA I start something, get sidetracked half way through start working on something else, get sidetracked yet again and start on something else...it just keeps going.
Shelving bills and official stuff. That's one of them. The others are too embarrassing to say...
My worst habit is classified. Let's go with eating too much. I eat for a lot of reasons, and nourishing myself is seldom one of them.
I'm a terrible listener. It's something I've been trying to change, but I just can't seem to shut myself up. Along with that goes my horrible habit of interrupting people. No wonder I need a blog. At least on my blog I'm free to be as self-involved and narcissistic as I want!
Nail biter since 2nd grade. I stopped for 4 years and then started back up when my 2nd daughter was born. Apparently she stresses me out...
I will just post one. I have to move constantly. I'm either wiggling my foot, talk with my hands or I rock.
I have two bad habits, one is nail biting. I can stop for years and boom, it comes back so quick. The second, is stress eating and not moving my ass on the treadmill, as much as I should. This is another area I get in a great groove, for months, and in 1 or 2 days I get out of that groove just as quick. I guess consistency is my biggest problem.
XOXO
I didn't stop biting my nails until I was 35. Stopped drinking at 42, and stopped smoking at 44.
My worst habit is being a bad listener and talking too much.
And eating too much ice cream.
Reformed nail biter here. My worst habit, of which I am totally embarrassed to admit, is that I pick scabs. And the sad thing is that it doesn't even have to be my own! Isaac gets so upset with me when I go after his--but I can't help it!!!
Procrastination.
Icecream.
Picking at myself.
Judgementalism.
Intellectual snobbery.
Lying for absolutely no good reason.
Loads more but gave up a few good ones on the way.

I stopped biting my nails when I started to wear acrylic nails. I wore them for a year and then when I had them taken off, I found I had gotten out of the habit. Only trouble with that is it's not a cheap option as you have to have then re-done once a month or so.
As for my bad habits, I have quite a few and I'm certainly not going to mention them here! But smoking is probably my worst habit. Oh and picking at my toenails!
...my worst habit is writing about people I know on my blog... naughty, but true!
girlwiththemask x
Swearing. That's my worst habit. Now there's a surprise!
My bad habit is interrupting people while they are talking.
I know, people hate it, but I just can't seem to help myself. It really isn't meant to be rude - it is actually just my way of talking.
In my family everyone talks at the same time. There are usually several conversations at once, too. So, I learned very bad habits very young.
Sometimes I really wish my family DIDN'T do this, although I do find it pleasant personally.
OH, and my hubby was NOT raised to talk like this. His family is 180 degrees - and hence considers me quite rude. Sooooo hubby hates to talk around my family too much. Makes him crazy.
At Swearing Mother's request, we've started a limerick meme. Heh.
Have at it, honey. You've been tagged.
swearing is my worst habit ever. when i lived in san diego, and in hs, it had become almost none existent because i decided i would stop. then i moved to vegas...damned potty mouth started up again lol
Oh. Just read wisewebwoman's comment... I am SO guilty of intellectual snobbery. And, of course I completely relate to nearlydawn's comment. I'm not painting a very nice picture of myself am I?
I'm afraid I'm with Carolyn, don't listen well, and finish off people's sentences - terrible habit but they just don't get to the point quick enough!!
Smoking. Stopping 1st May. Watch this space.
