The Saab Sisters

So today, Thelma and Louise hit the open highway...

And not just to experience the thrills of the road, with a Big Gulp in one hand and Nacho Cheese Doritos in the other. But the combination of this...

and this...

has led to warrants being issued in several adjoining states. The mission is to get home with some sort of credible explanation before the Film Geek checks the bank balance. Because if I don't I may really have to drive off of a cliff.

***************************************************
I'll be back Monday.
I'm so sorry that I'm so behind on my blog reading. I'll catch up. Really. As a matter of fact I have some very cool new reading lamps to help with my catching up. Quite a few, actually. And as soon as my credit card stops smoking, I'll tell you all about it.

Hurrah, you made it to IKEA. I love IKEA. Glad you are having fun.

Maybe if you blow on it, the card will stop smoking before you get home. IKEA is a dangerous place.

I have a lot of catching up to do too.

What you have to do is explain each item individually. That way you get to tell him about each individual bargain and how clever you are, and skirt round the whole issue of what all those bargains added up to!

drive safe, RC!
i've never been to ikea. but i suspect you'll hit some other, more interesting places between Ikea and Liberal collegeville.

I am envious. I love IKEA and we'd have to drive to Texas (which I hate on principle, being an Okie) to get to one. I end up buying mine off their website and on ebay. I'd probably die if I actually got to walk inside of an IKEA store!

Have a safe and fun trip.

Hey rumor has it that they will be opening an Ikea here soon! I can't wait.

I love road trips, have a blast.

Have a safe trip and don't max out that card until you've gotten yourself a laptop!

Oh my God, the Ikea near us is my idea of Hell on Earth. You're a very brave woman.

I bet those cards are SMOKING!!!!

Just tell him you absolutely NEED everything you have purchased, shrug your shoulders and leave it at that. Not sure that it'll work but it's worth a try. :)

Oh my. Have fun on the run! And catching up on blog reading is 100% optional after a vacation. Quintessential blogging rule, that one.

haven't found your blogs before but have come here via laurie and others and i love them. I am with wuastc - our Ikea (I suspect her local one is mine too) is hell on earth. I go about once a year and grump.

Love IKEA! LOVE!!

I am so jealous! I'm 10 hours away from 4 different IKEAs. 10 snow-bound, not worth driving after Early October, hours.

IKEA? Just down the road from here and I never go. Maybe I'll pop in on Sunday morning to see what it's all about.

Just teasing. It's fab, especially the Swedish meatballs. And it's always fun to buy a bookshelf called NERD.

Glad your having fun and If I had an Ikea close to me, you can bet my credit card would be smoking too. Plus, going to Ikea without my kids or hubby, sounds like a dream come true. Enjoy the rest of your trip and have a safe trip home. We'll be here and leave the light on for you.
XOXO

Ohhhh Ikea. Must visit there soon.
Miss E used to get Ikea mixed up with Torquay so lots of people probably think Mr B's brothers live in a huge shop.
Drive safe and have fun. And what the hell is Gulp?

An award awaits you at my blog.

Wahoo!

Well, If FG has an issue, he can drive all the way back to the IKEA and return them.

I'm thinking the price of gas will deter any such nonsense.
