impulse purchase?

Sorry, this is going to be a quickie. I've actually gotten a lot of writing done today, which has been nice, but here it is almost bedtime and no post. Uh oh.

So let's do a Q&A, okay? If you're in line at the supermarket and you buy a magazine on impulse - which one would it be? Hmm?

(My answer - kind of - is above).

Real Simple magazine. I love the ideas in there and I actually feel like I am getting something for my money.

I read People and Us and all those magazines at the hair salon. Where I don't pay for them. :)

If I lived in the States, it would definitely be People magazine. It's not slutty and I am curious enough to want to know and I think it is the truth, I hope.

Real Food probably. If they had Knitting magazines, maybe those. I always read People in the orthodontists' offices!

Southern Living. In fact, I just bought October's issue yesterday. It has a great combination of recipes, decorating, travel, and gardening for those of us who live in the South. (Oklahoma is technically the upper South, even though there are lots of people who'd argue with that.) I've read it for years but for some reason, I let my subscription lapse during the move.

The magazines I look forward to in the mailbox every month? Real Simple and Everyday Food.

I would say Women's Health or First. They have all sorts of tips on staying in better shape. (as in i dont want to look like a pear shape) if i am really tired, i will end up with a people, depending on who is on the cover. Any Brittany, Paris, or some such other embarassment, i wont buy it.

Have a grand day!

I once bought "Midwest Living" because I thought it would be fun to see what I should aspire to now I'm here. I hardly opened it. I'm just not a magaziney type of person.

I do buy cheesy gossipy mags when I just want a throw away read, but otherwise I buy a magazine called Psychologies which is really good.

A hairstyle magazine - for inspiration. It rarely works!

Ugh. I bought a copy of time at the check out yesterday. I just wanted to read about those wall street bastards. I should have bought people. Time gave me agida.

I'd buy that issue of People in a second.

My guilty pleasure is called Pick Me Up. It's all stories about regular people. But, as I always tell Peter, I buy it because I like the word puzzles at the end. (He likens this to buying Playboy for the articles.)

My last impulse magazine was Bitch. Usually it's People when it has Prince William on the front. We're related, you know. Which is kind of sick.

I am a People person, my guilty pleasure. I do love the book reviews, but mostly I just love the mindless stuff. Good mental therapy for turning my mind into mush.

I am OK. I couldn't get your e-mail to work. Kept getting sent back to me. Mostly due to that old cyber stalker and me being overly sensitive with another blogger. Sometimes I regress to the level of a 3rd grader, when my feelings get hurt.

Come visit me, at my new place. Would love input!!!
