I think I took care of this guy this past weekend. If it wasn't him it was a close relative.

That guy is frickin hilarious. I want to go to the ER with him.
Not yours, of course. You probably hate him. I think his specialty is nurse torture.
It's even worse here. Because we pretty much have a national health system, rather than paying $20 (18 of which is refunded later) to see a doctor and get a diagnosis, everyone on lower incomes goes to Emergency.
I'm talking sore throats, kids with sniffles, hangovers you name it. It's gotten so bad that in the past two months there have been three births and a miscarriage in hospital toilets because they couldn't get past the triage nurse and into a bed.
That guy is way to freaking funny! I am going to have to share the link around. LOL
My favourite patients are the ones who say "uh, eleven."
That guy was pretty funny though. I was giggling the whole routine.

I must admit that I liked morphine, too. I had a pump that would give me a dose every 10 minutes when I hit it. I would hit it, be good for a few minutes, and then pump that thing like crazy until the next dose came!
I was so sad when I started throwing up and broke out in hives and they took that glorious stuff away...
a lot of people on low income go to the ER here, too, WT, because they truly can't afford to go to the doctor.
it's a bad system.
