yeah...right...

Who: You

What: One fun thing you plan to do.

When: This weekend.

Where: Anywhere you want to.

Why: Why not?

I'll start. This weekend is brought to you by Surfer Dude's soccer tournament. First game was tonight and we got handed our shorts. Second game tomorrow night, and I'm afraid we'll be repeating the shorts routine. Third (and fourth if we qualify...rub a lamp) game(s) Saturday. Team party Saturday night.

But the real highlight of my weekend? My baby turns 12 on Sunday.

What is on MY agenda?
When the whole of a kitchen roof has been removed..... EVERYTHING seems to be about keeping the interior dry and being obsessive about weather forecasts! Can't see beyond that!

I do the soccer stuff too - especially the camera and shrieking bit. Got one of him as my WW this week.
Only difference is that we don't need the sunscreen. Coats and brollies yes, but not sunscreen. :)
Have fun.

How fun is that!

J-school grad reception. Daughter's dance recital. My birthday--which means no cooking.

It's a long weekend here in Canada and usually we head up north to open the cottage for the season. This year we're not going, it's just to darn cold and rainy, sigh...ciao

We're doing some fun stuff this weekend; going to a lecture tonight by Paul Farmer, author of Mountains After Mountains, going to see my stepdaughter off to her prom tomorrow night (the LAST one of the 5 kids),then we're going to a French film, and then a girls only lunch on Sunday. Kinda nice one this weekend! At least, those are the plans and you know how that goes....

My plans? Try to stay cool, it is supposed to hit the 100 degree mark this weekend, can I move to England please?

10 hour volley ball tournament in a gym without airconditioning! I think I'll bring a pitcher of margaritas for myself and the other moms!

Happy Birthday!! (My oldest just turned 12 on May 1st.)

We spent this morning visiting with my brother and 2-yr-old niece, which was very nice. Going to the in-laws for supper, ugh.

We had a soccer tournament this weekend as well, but it got rained out. Yeah! We really needed it. I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Happy birthday to Surfer Dude!
